Gethsemane works with appropriate State and Community agencies, in a form of practical partnership, when issues arise in regard to mental wellbeing.

How to Help
There are two financial ways you can help.

  1. Direct donations via PayPal go to Donate Now.
  2. The second way you can help financially is by making arrangements for a bequest to Gethsemane in your will.

The following is one way that you may wish to do this. It is important to discuss an option of this kind with you family and with your solicitor. If you would like to make a BEQUEST to Gethsemane Community Inc. please read the following.

This is a possible clause to add to a Will making a bequest to be applied to Gethsemane Community Inc.:
I bequeath the sum of $ …….. to Gethsemane Community Inc to be applied by the Committee of Management of that Association in furtherance of its work in Australia and I declare that the receipt of the Chair of the Committee, for the time being, will be full and sufficient discharge for my Executors and/or Trustees without requiring further as to the actual application of this bequest.

Gethsemane Community Inc,  ABN 23 390 424 713, is legally incorporated under the Associations Incorporation 2009 and Associations Incorporation Regulations 2010.  Gethsemane Community Inc is a Public Benevolent Institution and has Deductible Gift Recipient status so that all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Obviously any interaction with the members of the community would require a range of processes to ensure that the volunteer is suitable and able for the demands of the role and has received any necessary training. If interested please Send e-Mail
  2.  Volunteers individuals or groups to assist in the Christmas Project. If you have a specific suggestion as to how you may assist, for example, collecting specific items for the Christmas Parcels; actually collecting the materials and making up the parcels and under the direction of the coordinator delivering to specific houses. Send e-Mail
  3.  Volunteers writing and/or readdressing Christmas cards Send e-Mail
  4.  Volunteers providing food or assisting in preparing the Christmas hampers or assisting in serving /helping at the Christmas Dinner.Send e-Mail
