Two wonderful good samaritans, Rhonda and Tony Tanti carried out an appeal for our Christmas project at their local Parish in Lidcombe recently. They also recruited the help of two other parishioners, Anne and Lauren to assist in the collection.

They received an overwhelming response from their fellow parishioners, and as a result arrived at Gethsemane Community with TWO CARS FULL of food and toiletries! But that wasn’t the end of this charitable event. Before heading home, Tony and Rhonda also volunteered to deliver a large amount of Christmas parcels to various Assisted Boarding Houses. That lovely gesture saved us from spending hundreds of dollars on a courier service – now, those precious funds can go into making up more Christmas parcels, allowing us to reach more people in need.
We would like to send out a big thank you to everyone who helped make this appeal possible at Lidcombe Josephite Associates group. Their generosity and kindness will touch many people who desperately need it this Christmas.
