Christmas Project 2021
In 2021, 932 individually named Christmas gift bags were packed and delivered to people with disabilities across NSW.
Parcels consisted of perfume for women and aftershave for men plus two pairs of socks and two packets of soft lollies.
Items were bought and stored in the carport. Because of Covid, purchases of socks and lollies were made online. Perfume and aftershave and toiletries for the hampers were bought at Priceline Pharmacy, Marrickville Metro. They also donated 200 of each of the toiletries.
September-Mid October
Gift parcels were packed in the carport by Tricia Meers, Dee Butler and Myree. Rhonda and Tony Tanti then delivered them across Sydney. Michael Holland delivered parcels to Katoomba and Goulburn.
Mid October to Mid November
390 hampers of general and festive food, toiletries and a calendar were packed by Tricia Meers and Myree.
Michael Holland, John Star and his partner Louie, and nurses from the mental health and drugs health teams assisted with packing. Cars were then loaded and hampers were delivered to recipient groups for storage until Christmas.
