Gethsemane Community delivers Christmas gift parcels to Two Sydney Assisted Boarding Houses

On Monday 21st October, Tricia Meers and Myree Harris RSJ delivered Christmas gift parcels to the residents living in two Assisted Boarding Houses for people with disabilities – Denroma in Marrickville and Frank’s Boarding House in Campsie.

Some of the residents helped Tricia and Sr Myree carry the big striped bags, concealing the gift parcels, into the facilities. Little do they know that they will be getting a very special surprise come Christmas Day when they’ll each receive their own Christmas parcel.

The Christmas Project is well underway. From now until Christmas there will be many more deliveries to be done, more Christmas parcels to be made up and more donations of food, clothes, toiletries and treats to be sourced. None of this is possible without our volunteers or the generosity of businesses and people donating items/food/gifts and funds. If you’d like to get involved with the Christmas Project please contact us.
